BlackBerry on thursday launched its BB 9720 at Rs. 15,990 in India.Powered by 806 MHz Tavor MG1 processor this phone runs on latest BlackBerry 7.1 OS. BB 9720 features a Qwerty keyboard with a 2.8 inch. touch screen and an optical trackpad for navigation. Other features include a 512 MB ram, 5MP camera with LED flash, supports Wi-fi and 1450mAH removable battery. Though it comes along a microSD slot supporting external memory upto 32 GB but has too little internal memory to go along with. And without a 3G network support chances look very rare for BB 9720 to beat its competitors at Rs. 15k range.
