How to Recover deleted files on Android phones

Add Life to your Facebook Timeline

When Facebook got cracks and holes on its Wall, they launched Timeline. People got a new way to express their feelings, thoughts and moods as the cover on the top of their Timeline. You can share and highlight your most memorable posts, photos and life events on your timeline, no doubts, it made the access to your past  time posts and activities, easier.

Add profile pic in Facebook chat

Delete Internet Cookies

While installing windows XP you must have noticed your program menu showing Internet Explorer browser. Since, Windows XP comes with a default web browser Internet Explorer 6, while accessing the internet on Internet Explorer the websites stores information known as “cookie” or “temporary internet files” on a folder “temporary internet files” of your computer.  We must delete these cookies timely to ensures that there are no harmful files in our cookies which can infectious our system, and so that our computer can run at optimal speed.

To delete these temporary files and cookies you can follow these steps:

1)     1)  Open your Internet Explorer browser,

2)     2)  Check the menu bar for “Tool” option and click on it,

3)     3)  Then go to “Internet Options”, a new window for Internet Options will pop out, &

4)     4)  Finally, click on Delete Cookie and Delete Files.

How to block Facebook.com at Home or Office??

Facebook has become a popular since the time web 2.0 had evolved. No doubt it’s a powerful tool to stay connected with peoples, but its also regarded as a time wasting media. If you are tired scolding your childrens or asking your employees to stay away from Facebook during work, this post will going to be helpful for you.

This is a basic coding line which you have to add to a local file named as “hosts” located in your C drive (C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc\hosts) after which you can block facebook.com at your home or your office PC.

1. First, open the hosts file using Notepad or wordpad.

2. You will find this line at the end “127.0.0.1   localhost”.

3. Now copy the following lines and paste it below “127.0.0.1 localhost”.

      
        #Block Facebook on my PC

        127.0.0.1 login.facebook.com

        127.0.0.1 www.facebook.com

        127.0.0.1 blog.facebook.com

        127.0.0.1 apps.facebook.com

4. Save and then close the file, and restart your browser.

How to save Facebook videos?

Hey guys as today we all are very fond of facebook, for most of us it has became a daily routine to update status, to check notification, etc. etc…while doing so many times we come across some interesting videos shared by our friends, which we can’t download directly. So here is a trick to download the video directly to our system without using any video downloading software.

Since we all know, everything we do in our web is cached in cache folder on our computer, so, let's use this never used cached today to save our video file by going through few simple steps that i have mentioned below.

To do this we first need to play the video to it’s full length, which is something like saving the video on our computer’s temporary folder called cache.

There are several browsers and tricks to apply this trick as well but I felt it’s easy to use internet explorer to do this trick.

So now all we need to do is to find Temporary Files/Cache in Internet Explorer

1. So first of all open Internet Explorer browser on your system. Then, go to the video and watch it full.

2. Now go to the Tools tab in menubar of internet explorer, then,

Internet Options > Browsing history Settings > View Files.

3. You will see a large sized video file with long name and unknown type, if you move your mouse cursor over it, it will show you the link something like this: (http://video.ak.fbcdn.net/cfs-ak-snc4/84057/84.../...........mp44F11B300&__gda__=13.....34)

4. Just copy and paste that file at your desktop, and then you are done.

Try to play the video and if the file format doesn't support the media player you have, then use video converters to convert the video to a supported video format.
